Overview

Medically Enlightened is a medical education platform for learners across undergraduate and postgraduate training. They teach through courses, workshops, resources, podcasts and videos. I built the complete platform: a public website, a learner dashboard and an admin dashboard, all running on one secure codebase.

The Challenge

  • Teaching, courses, resources and podcasts lived in separate places, with no single home for learners.
  • Paid and free content needed protection, so only the right learners could access it.
  • The team needed to update courses, faculty, pages and media themselves, without a developer.
  • Two very different audiences—students and practising doctors—needed clear, separate pathways.
  • The platform had to feel trustworthy and professional for a medical brand.

One full-stack LMS built around a simple learning model: Learn → Apply → Perform.

Design Approach

  • Calm, clinical look: clean white and soft blue surfaces with navy and crimson accents.

  • Course cards show category, format (online / in-person / hybrid) and duration at a glance.
